Leica is such a beautiful dog – she loves to run – especially when it is to chase the lizards in the garden! But her absolute favorite thing is to play fetch or tug with her people. She has even gotten really good at playing fetch.

She is cautious when meeting new people and makes a timid, loving approach. She is tolerant of children, but not a big fan of all the movement and noise that comes with them. We therefore will not consider homing Leica into a family with children, teens are fine, but no primary, pre-primary or kindergarten kiddies.  Leica gets very stressed with loud, rowdy play.  She would be an amazing best friend to a teen, and would suit both active and not-so-active homes.  She would love regular walks and runs though!

Leica is accustomed to smaller dogs, and would do well with an assertive smaller pet, or another large breed.

Leica stays off beds and couches, she loves her pillow and has had some behaviour training.  However, all our dogs sleep inside and Leica has never slept outside.
