Rescue a weimaraner
Without donations, Weimaraner Rescue is just not able to operate. We do not charge an adoption fee. We do however recover costs related to the specific rescue, such as neutering/sterilisation, vaccinations and chipping. However, there are costs that are not recoverable, and for this we do need donations to survive.
We often have weimies that come in a terrible condition. They have tick and fleas! They are exceptionally under nourished or just require urgent medical attention. Some require to be kennelled or transported across the country. Some homechecks are in far flung locations such as Garies, in these instances we cannot expect a rescue organisation to do a homecheck and incur costs to travel to and from this location.
Other costs that may require a donation, is for the fit and supply of a collar, leash or harness. Many of our weimaraners are transported across the country, without a leash or harness to control them, this is just not possible.
