Aldo is a 1 year old Weimaraner X German Shorthaired Pointer boy.

He loves going for runs or playdates with other dog friends. He is able to walk with a leash, but does pull a bit since he’s used to going for runs off leash. He loves soft toys! Always sneaking one into the car whenever he leaves the house!

He is a VERY energetic pup and gets a lot of “zoomies” in smaller yards. He will need a large space – preferably with other dogs, but he did grow up as an only pet. He does sometime sneak onto couches, but as long as there is a comfy dog bed close by he will sleep in his own bed. When he is around new people he gets very excited so we don’t recommend a home with toddlers.

His owner is moving to an urban area and keeping this lively boy in a small yard would be a sin. He is truly an amazing dog and needs a loving family who would provide him with a lot of attention and walks. Preference will be given to active families.

As with all our weimies, we will conduct homechecks, and Aldo will go to his new home sterlised, vaccinated and chipped.  Preference will be given to families based in the Northern Cape, but Aldo can be placed anywhere in South Africa.

The adoption fee for Aldo is R1750, but does not include transport to his new home.  Transport can be arranged within reason.
