Darling Blu needs a new home.  His family realised that they are unable to meet his needs, and decided that it would be in his best interest to be rehomed now, while he is still young. They have toddlers and another much older pet, and Blu is just not the right match.  He needs a family that is active, a companion that is younger that he can play with, and a little help with his basic obedience training..

Blu is socialised, enjoys playing with other pets, but is not accustomed to cats.  Our perfect home for Blu will be a home where there is at least one other dog, about 2 – 4 years old. A family that loves spending time with their pets.  We would not recommend children under school-going age as Blu is unfortunately able to run them over.  He already weighs 34kgs so he is not a small boy.

As with all our dogs, homechecks apply. We will give preference to homes in the Western Cape but Blu can travel to other provinces provided we are able to arrange transport.  We are going to cut off applications at 20, sorry, we just do not have the capacity to deal with 100s of applications for 1 pet, when we have a number of other pets that are also deserving for new homes.  Sadly this is the reality, one young pup and we get 100s of applications, and yet some of our other dogs, not even 5 years old, get none.  An adoption fee of R1750 applies.  Please contact michelleb@rescueaweim.co.za or whatsapp ONLY 0824644929.
